The Department of *Community Medicine GMC BARAMULLA celebrated WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY, wherein an awareness generation program was organized in the college under the *patronage of Professor Dr. Ruby Reshi* , *the Principal and dean* of the college and the speakers highlighted various aspects of tobacco menace, and the various control measures to curb this hidden disaster. The ultimate aim of such programs is to save the humans , animals , plants and the environment from the hazards of tobacco, and pave the way towards attaining the goal of a tobacco free world.
