Department of Psychiatry, GMC Baramulla Conducts 15th Training Workshop on Drug Abuse Baramulla, February 20 The Department of Psychiatry at GMC Baramulla organized the 15th Training Workshop on Drug Abuse, which also served as the 3rd session for Master Trainers from various institutions across District Baramulla. The workshop trained 30 ICDS supervisors from different blocks as Master Trainers, equipping them with skills in early identification, counseling, and proper referral procedures for substance abuse cases. This day-long session featured interactive discussions, allowing participants to share insights and feedback. The initiative, led by Principal Prof. Dr. Majid Jahangir, is part of the District Administration Baramulla’s collaboration with GMC Baramulla under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. This marks the fifteenth such workshop conducted by the department over the past two years.
