One day work shop MedLEaPR Training & Autopsy Refresher

MedLEaPR Training & Autopsy Refresher Course at GMC Baramulla May 16th 2025 Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla, organized the MedLEaPR Training and Autopsy Refresher Course under the guidance of HOD Dr. Syed Hina Mumtaz. The workshop was formally inaugurated by Principal Prof. Dr. Majid Jahangir, who delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing adherence to MedLEaPR protocols. Two distinguished experts in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology led the workshop: Dr. Azia Manzoor Bhat,State Nodal Officer MedLEaPR and HOD, FMT GMC Anantnag Dr. Ukshan Parvaiz Shah,Nodal Officer MedLEaPR and HOD, FMT GMC Handwara Heads of various GMC Baramulla departments attended the workshop, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of forensic medicine and the institution’s spirit of collaboration. The event aimed to enhance expertise in Medico-Legal Examination and Postmortem Reporting (MedLEaPR) by refining MLC reporting methodologies, best practices, and forensic procedures for participants.
